To the casual observer, this may look like a meticulously restored classic Chevy pickup. But for enthusiasts, a closer inspection reveals a high-performance, custom-built machine. This 1971 Chevrolet C10, expertly built by All Speed Customs of Muskegon, Michigan, is a seamless blend of classic aesthetics and modern performance.

Exterior

The truck sports a stunning two-tone paint job in vibrant green and white, a departure from the more subdued shades of the original 1971 palette. The paint job highlights the truck’s classic lines while the standard trim separates the green from the white sections. The front features the iconic eggcrate grille, and the rear displays the ‘Chevrolet’ nameplate on the tailgate, both true to the classic styling. Chrome bumpers and upgraded headlights ensure the truck stands out day and night. Five-spoke TorqueThrust-style wheels wrapped in Nitto tires add a modern touch to the exterior, enhancing its aggressive stance.

Interior

The interior is a masterpiece of custom work, combining luxury with functionality. Finished in rugged tan, the fit and finish are exceptional, giving the impression that it could have come from the factory this way. Aftermarket silver face gauges are neatly integrated into the factory locations. The Vintage Air unit provides modern climate control, while the modern radio maintains a factory appearance. Aluminum pedals and a wood-rimmed, split-three-spoke steering wheel add to the sporty feel of the truck.

Performance and Mechanical
Under the hood lies a 6.0L GM LS V8 engine, expertly tuned by Baker Engineering. Paired with an automatic transmission, this powerplant delivers robust performance with a smooth, modern driving experience. The engine’s note is pleasingly aggressive, especially when pushed, thanks to a custom exhaust system featuring headers and Magnaflow mufflers. The restored underside showcases new suspension components and a clean frame, emphasizing the build’s high quality. A fuel cell at the rear with an integrated filler cap in the bed completes the thoughtful design.
